Supporting Grassroots Cricket in Greytown
Late last year as part of our Sports Funding we supported Greytown Cricket Club with funding to help cover the cost of cricket balls for their junior and senior teams for the season ahead.
Protecting Greytown’s Historic Oak Trees
Recently the Trust were pleased to provide emergency funding to assist St Luke’s Church with urgent safety work on six historic oak trees along Church Street. These trees, highly valued by the community, were damaged in a recent storm, creating a significant hazard along the public footpath.
Supporting Community Play in Greytown
The Trust was pleased to support the Greytown Community Playgroup with funding for essential upgrades to the sandpit at the Greytown Plunket rooms, where the group meets each Monday.
