$15,000 Available for Sport and Active Recreation Projects

Applications now open – closing 3 September 2025

Greytown Lands Trust is proud to support local sport and active recreation with a new contestable funding round, now open for applications.

A total of $15,000 is available this year for clubs, incorporated societies, and community groups delivering sport or active recreation activities that benefit the Greytown community.

Funding can support a wide range of needs — from uniforms and equipment to coaching, youth development, and initiatives that encourage greater participation, especially among groups who might otherwise miss out.

Trust Manager, Helga Perry, says the goal is to support organisations that not only keep our community active, but also foster inclusion, skill development, and long-term involvement.

“We’re looking for well-planned projects with clear community benefit — whether it’s about building capability within a club or simply helping more people get involved in physical activity.”

Organisations from outside Greytown can also apply if they’re delivering an activity not currently available locally and can show clear Greytown participation.

Applications are open until 5pm on Wednesday 3 September 2025.
