Community funding 2025 - “social, cultural and environmental”

During June and July we invited applications from local community groups, incorporated societies and registered charities for activities and projects in the areas of “social, cultural and environmental” well-being. 

Trustees at our July Board meeting confirmed funding for the following groups.

$2,000    Papawai Mangarara Stream catchment Group

$2,000    St Lukes Church – Music and Movement

$1,500     Digital Seniors – Greytown service

$5,000    The Social Crust (Greytown Foodbank)

$8,000    Wellington Free Ambulance - to purchase a Raizer Chair II Battery-operated Mobile Lifting Chair for use in the South Wairarapa

$1,500 Wairarapa Fern and Thistle Pipe Band

$2,000 Hokai Tahi Charitable Trust
